Homeowner Deceased - No Relatives

It’s been a while since I was on here, but now have issue I’ve not encountered before.

I’ve flipped a lot of properties where homeowners were deceased, I located relatives and took one thru probate court to get him/her appointed, and then bought the house from that relative.

The deceased owner of the house I’m now looking at has no relatives at all.

Any suggestions?

You might post this over on Ward’s Board and perhaps Rcik The Probate Guy will respond.

State “escheating” heart

All states have “escheat” laws on their books that basically give all dead folks’ properties, real & personal to the states…in those cases where NO legal descendants can be proven.

To find what PA’s are go to PA Statutes, Escheat and read its laws on same.
