Accurint, is by far, the best skip trace service I have found. You’ll need to fill out an application and go from there. They will not just let anybody in, they used to, and have now become more particular about their client base.

Like Richie, I use the local whitepages first then turn to something such as zabasearch.com (free) if Ma Bell doesn’t have them listed.
