INVESTOR IN DEFAULT, HELP!! - Posted by cpink

Hi to all, I’m in a jam with another investor who I thought I could trust. I sold one of my properties to this guy over a two year period and signed the deed over to him (worst mistake I ever made). He did not pay the property taxes and we were to close on today as agreed.
I also just found out that he also recorded the deed today. What options, if any, do I have? A lawyer will be too costly and I’m out of money. Thanks for all your help.

Have you checked your city/town’s legal aid services? They may be able to provide free legal services.
