If done right you will not need a facilitator, accomadator or intermediary in your exchange.

I’m considering doing my first 1031 exchange, but the local attorney’s are not experienced in them. Should I look for a national exchange facilitator? If so, can someone recommend one?

Yes P L E A S E call Carl Tully at Heritage Group One… they are singularly the best in the country (opinion). I’ve never done an exchange, but I’ve worked with Carl on several, and have attended Exchange conferences and several seminars with him. He is recognized and highly respected in the business. Many regard him as the party most responsible for today’s continuing 1031 legislation.
