1st class, not bulk stamps on non-owner occupieds - Posted by mikel

I use first class postage and either a handwritten or hand stamped return address. It is my opinion that the less it looks like junk mail, the better. I am using labels from the title company, so the stamp and the return address are the only things that might make the letter seem out of the ordinary.

I’m getting more than 10% back as undeliverable. Which is ok, because often in that 10% there is a lead for an abandoned property, etc.

Sincerely, Kristine

To those who have mailed before to out-of-town owners, would you suggest paying the premium for 1st class stamps because of the address forwarding?

For those that have used bulk, what percentage of the letters/postcards have you received back?

1st class is obviously a lot more expensive - any thoughts on whether it’s worth it?
