as Lonnie would say. Drive into those parks. Except for the adult quality, how are they, otherwise? Talk with the park manager (PM) and see if there are any units for sale by the owners. Find out all the standard things Lonnie tells you about in his books. Then, look at them again to see if there is a market for your services.

2BR ok for 55+ area? - Posted by Jerry in Tarpon Springs FL

In this area (Clearwater, St. Pete) the MH ads show about 70% 2 BR, 25% 1BR and most of the parks are 55+. In an area like this is it a good idea to go for 2BR homes and work with the +55 parks? Or should one stick to 3BR even if they are a small percentage? I’m asking since Lonnie mostly talks about 3BR and young families.

Thanks for any help or advice.
