I have read similar questions to yours on the board before. So I recommend searching the archives for responses. Also, I have a FSBO marketing company in my area and of the few people who have tried the 5 day sale concept, I don’t believe any have successfully made it work. Recently, I received a follow-up from another investor who posted here who tried the 5 day method, also unsuccessfully.

As far as your other questions (option, paid at closing, buyer’s mortgage company). It appears you are combining different methods with the “5 day sale method”, so I am not sure exactly what you are planning and cannot address those without further clarification.

Can anyone share their experience using Bill Effros’s “5-day” method as an investor? Did you use an option? How did you actually get paid at the closing? Did the buyer’s mortgage company have a problem with you getting paid as an investor? If so, how did you resolve the problem?
