800 Number, or Regular Phone Number ? - Posted by Ulaf

I am getting ready to do mailings to home owners. I was wondering whether I should use an 800 number as my telephone mumber or a regular phone number.
In other words, between an 800#, and a regular phone number, which one is better for our business. Do buyers/ sellers react significantly differently to either of them?
Any one know?

I always use my vanity toll-free number. I include my regular number when space permits.

Unless you’re working in a region or an area that spans several zip codes, you’re wasting your money and time thinking about it. There are plenty of successful investors that use local numbers. A motivated seller doesn’t care that you have an 800 number, just as long as you appear honest and provide a service to them.
