If the units are side-by-side, it is feasible to split the lot into separate legals and sell the units individually. This requires approval of the local zoning and planning dept. Creating a condo assoc is expensive in terms of legal fees and is not feasible for 4 units.

My wife asked about making a four-plex we are buying into condos so we could sell to the tenants who are renting to have their own property. Is this feasible? And to whom should I speak to about the situation of making an apartment into a condo? I need some feed back on this!!!
