As I was passing Project MAC,
I met a Quux with seven hacks.
Every hack had seven bugs;
Every bug had seven manifestations;
Every manifestation had seven symptoms.
Symptoms, manifestations, bugs, and hacks,
How many losses at Project MAC?

Hello All,
It’s been a while since I’ve been in here.
I have a puzzle for you.
There’s a vacant nursing home in my town. It’s been vacant now for 4 years. It’s in a great location sitting on one city block with plenty of room to expand if needed.
It has 30 rooms that consist of a room with half bath. A large dining room, kitchen, nurses stations on each wing with three wings…all on ground level. Handicapped acessible, parking, walks, bath rooms…you get the idea. It has storeage rooms, everything a small nursing home has. What it doesn’t have is up to date plumbing, electrical and heating/cooling. All big ticket items. Plus the roof, but the building is good structurally.
Now the puzzle…what could one do with this to make money?
We thought about making it into senior living by making one room out of two. That way with the extra plumbing you could add a small kitchenette. Which would make each room a one bedroom with small kitchen.
That’s the only thing I can think of that we NEED here.
Any ideas?
Great $uccess,
Dee-Texas

Check with your state laws regarding convalescent hospitals. Here in CA it takes an act of God to convert a skilled nursing center to assisted living and vice-versa. Maybe it has been vacant so long for a reason.
