I need help with contacting owners of abandoned properties. I have the address of the owner but I do not know the best way to write a letter to them asking if they would like to sell the property. I’d appreciate ideas on how others are doing this.

Don’t try to be a marketing genius…just get a letter out. Tell them what you want (their house) and tell them how to get ahold of you. The ones that want to sell, will.

Most investors would send the owner postcards with the simple “We buy houses” type message. Stress the “cash” and “as is” part. Then, send another postcard if no responce in a couple weeks. You never know if you don’t ask.
