In DOW Lonnie suggests that you test the market by placing an ad in the paper. Saying something like: “1983 MH 14 x 70 2BR, 1 BA quiet park. WILL FINANCE. $1000 down and $157 a month call …”
Being new to this area this seems like a good thing for me to do to see how much need for mobile homes is here.
My question is if I do this and I don’t have a mobile home to sell - is that illegal? Like false advertisement or something? And has anyone else tried this?
I would explain when anyone called that that home has been sold but if they would like I will take their number and call them if that buyer renegs. This will test the demand and I get develop a list of possible clients for the future.
