I will attempt to offer some possible solutions. Is the seller wanting to walk from your deal? If not, explain to him that the lender is dragging this out and that you would like to look into obtaining financing elsewhere ( happened to me once) - see if you can line up a hard money lender for a short term loan to get this deal done then afterwards work on the conventional loan at your leisure, once deal is done. If you have to you can add an addendum to the contract to extend the closing date. See if the seller will give you 45 day escrow from the date of the conversation, but work on finding a hard money lender ASAP - do an archive search for that info- hope this helps, good luck!
