You might try selling it with owner financing to someone who has run a bar or to someone who thinks they have wanted to run one. Consider a PACTrust to create a good structue to work within.

Hello all. My brother has a building in upstate NY that was our parents. They both passed away with in 6 months of each other. The building was a Mom and Pop bar (closed) since August 1999, and a 3 bedroom apartment where they lived on the second floor. The building is at least 50+ years old and the second floor needs repairs. All equipment to run the business (bar)is still inside. Property is owned free and clear and was willed to our brother. Any ideas on what we could do with this property? We can not run the business due to our locations. I had posted this before but circumstances have changed since then. Appreciate any ideas.
