Just wondering how other landlords handle calls from tenants/potential tenants.
Charles Givens suggests getting a second phone line which goes directly to voicemail and then returning calls as need be. I was thinking that to avoid repeating all the details on a rental property you could record a message with all the facts of a property and then return the calls of those who are interested enough to leave a number. Seems like it would free up a lot of time and eliminate talking to people who aren’t really interested but…would you lose tenants because they don’t want to leave a message or don’t even listen to the voicemail message? Does anyone do this? If so, what have the results been? Any other suggestions on how to handle calls? Thanks
