I have never heard of an “agreement for sale.” This sounds more like a purchase and sale agreement.
An agreement for deed and a contract for deed are generally considered the same thing.

Is an Agreement for Sale, an Agreement for Deed, or a Contract for Deed all one in the same or are there differences between them?
Please explain.
Much appreciated.

Jim, here in AZ an Installment Land Contract is called an Agreement for Sale.
Different names in each state, but the same concept.
