I’m a newbie learning as much as I can and could use some insight on this one. I’ve been looking at some of the REO’s availible in my area and then looking up the actual transaction history for that property (if none found, transactions on that block). I was expecting to see all the REO price 25% to 75% less than the transaction prices. What I found were a good number of REO prices in excess of 100%less than the previous transaction value. Examples: (L=list T=Transaction) L: $7500 T:$140,000; L:$24,900 T:$160,000; L:$45,000 T: $95,000; L:$52,000 T:105,000. I have not viewed any of these places but would consider the highest profit potential a great starting point. Is it possible these are real deals?
