There are many hard money lender willing to do business in AR. The questions is “what are you needing to lend on an how much”. Generally, the small loans (less than $100K) are hard to get finance. But if you scenario calls for something much larger than that, I have lenders that will help. Anything smaller, and I suggest working with local lenders.

I am a fairly new investor jumping into the short sale market. I’ve taken several courses and learned much from this site and others. However, I haven’t been successful finding a true HML that is willing to do business in Arkansas. Any help would be appreciated.

What sort of problems have you run into. AR is not that different legally (not like LA). Have you checked with local REIA groups?
