What do you mean by best offer over?

Auction / 5 Day Sale Question - Posted by Kevin - WA

Hi,

I have a property that I need to auction and am planning to use the 5 Day method.

For those who have used it, you would probably agree that the book is not written geared to “investors.” But, I think it can work anyway.

My question is this: would there be a problem with using a Free Recorded Message in the classified ad to give out the “general info,” then leave a phone number in there for people who have “additional questions?” I was thinking this might save me some time, but I would not want to do it if it would impact the process negatively. Anyone have any experience making this modification to the system?

Thanks in advance,

K

i have tried it and it does save time.if you are an auctioneer, you have to have those things in your ad,name,# why, what, where, when, terms and conditions.if you are an owner you might want to advertise it as best offer over not bidding as it might run into a legal issue without being licensed.i advertised mine as best acceptable offer over and did great.
