In my County, the owner is served notice to vacate along with the foreclosure notice in the paper. If he stays after the sale, the sheriff can immediately help you with an eviction. The people at the foreclosure court will know the rules - ask them.

Hello! I purchased a home yesterday on the auction blocks. I know that states differ, but if anyone has had experience with this, I would greatly appreciate any advice. I am afraid the people are going to remain after the 10 day stay. I believe I can serve eviction notice right now (30 days before a sale) as they are tenants at sufferance, but, again, I am looking for some veteran advice. Thanks!
