In this case stick with your 70% side.
There is no way legally to start a new credit file the credit file we have is the one we have until we move on. Our credit file can be repaired of the damages the Fair Credit Reporting Act is in place to assure that.
If this system suggest you get a tax ID number to use for applying for credit only that is impossible and illegal, that is called File Segregation and the Attorney General would like to know about these scams as well as the FTC. The credit repair orgenization is in place to assure we do not get caught by these scams.
You can have your credit repaired or you can take the challenge on and do it yourself, either way it is the safest and best way to reapir any damage that has occured in the past.
