No, I thik the concensus here is that it’s not usually worth it. In some areas there are groups that work together to artifically bid the price of the houses up and they take turn amongst themselves in getting the bid. Lots of stories like this. Check the archives.

Looking for any information on attending a bank auction. I have read about them (mostly outdated material or not enough details) and I am curious? I have been doing re-hab work full-time for 3 years and I am able to do all the preliminary work. (Title searches, all cash and so forth.)
Is it worth all the time it takes and is it as competitive as gov’t homes?
Right now I get most of my properties from dealers but I am always looking to maximize profits. Any help would be appreciated.
