bank financing on subject to properties - Posted by henry

Hi
I have a property I just aquired via subject to existing fininacing, ( thanks Micheal and Bill )I advetised it as owner financing and have found a very interested buyer who will get bank financing instead of the O/F. in my past experience on flips, the banks like to see the “seller” owns the property for a minimum of 8 months to a yr before they resell.I’m really not sure why , but anyways, now that I have found a buyer who has great credit and loves the house, how do I get around this bank requirement?
thanks for your help

Henry,

You’ll need to find another lender for your buyer. I have had more success with local lenders (not brokers).
