I have found that if I take the time to use an envelope and make sure that everything it neatly typed and professional looking, (including letterhead) my response rate goes way up. I use the computer to address and return address the envelopes also. I am in an underpopulated part of the country and the last mailing I did was 70 letters…I got twelve responses. Pretty good average I would say.
