I was watching a video tape for some motivational speaker last night, and he used this story.
It got me to thinking about all the people “Trying” to get going on REI.
Here is that excercise.
1.Take a pen out and place it into your hand.
2. Now drop that pen onto your desk.
3. “Try” to pick it up.
Did you pick it up, or leave it lay on the desk?
See, there is not way to simply “Try” to pick it up.
You either do it, or not.
No in between.
This is what got me thinking about my investing and where it has not been lately.
I simply was “Trying” and not “Doing”.
What a waste of time.
So, I’m off to sell four homes, 2 of which I got this weekend, and answer a few seller calls that were waiting for me when I got back from Atlanta.
