Scott, yes a “bond for title” is another name for a “contract for deed” or “land contract”. I lived in louisiana for a couple of years and the term they used was “bond for deed”. I sold a home there using this method, had a lawyer do the contract. I wasn’t aware the term was used anywhere else. (Louisiana law is based on french law and has some unusual aspects not common in the rest of the country). Good luck to you!
