I wanted to become a mortgage broker to supplement my income while investing in real estate.
I joined World Lending Group and was able to originate loans in 48 states.
I find that when I talk to realtors or other real estate professionals about investment properties, I have a lot more credibility when I tell them I am a mortgage broker and a Real Estate Investor.
They have a great training program and online loan submission that is excellent. They do most of the processing of the application, all you need to do is sell loans, and they do everything else.
For Realtors, it’s a great way to make additional money on the loan origination without giving the commission away.
Commissions are better than most mortgage brokers in my area were willing to pay.
