Notaries are “licensed” by the state. Check your Sec. of State. Nominal fee and a Bond usually required. You want access to a notary on evenings and weekends when the banks or or other offices are closed.

Small question. In his course, Bronchick says that when signing…it was either the performance mortgage, the 2nd deed, or the memorandum of option agreement - I forget as I just was listening to the course in my car and I do not have it in front of me…says that you should make a friend/acquaintance a notary and have them go with you and sign off on the document as well. How do you make someone a notary?
