Tom,
Not sure what you’re trying to accomplish here. I don’t know that a separate security agreement will get you more than a Promissory Note. Remember that a security agreement is just a contract. No contract language can supercede local, state or Federal Law (meaning you can not cause someone to waive their rights under the laws that apply).
Be sure you have your docs reviewed by a local, competent attorney before using them to keep yourself out of trouble.

I found a simple one page SA in which I did some editing, tweaking, and additions to suit my needs.

It could use some further editing, so I am offering my edited copy for anyone willing to collaborate (or not) on this agreement.

Some items, such as the default clauses, are in my Promissory Note. So I do have some redundancy, which never hurts.

Email me at the address above without the NO_SPAM to receive a copy. It is an MS Word Doc so it will come as an attachment.

I am not a lawyer so use at your own risk.
