Has anyone tried buying ad space on bus stop benches near busy intersections?

If so was it effective for you? I can buy a 3 month ad for $149.95.

Years ago, I remember having a marketing course in college in which the instructor (a local business owner) recommended AGAINST bench ads. His reason, people SIT on the bench to wait for the bus. Who is going to see your ad then?

Maybe BillW is onto something, IF it’s not a bus stop bench where people sit often, but it’s still along a busy intersection or street.

Eric, Why not get with the city and see if you can donate a bench to help the tired people have a resting spot? You could probably buy an approved bench for less than $500 and perhaps have your ad displayed on a longer term basis (like permanently) with a lower net cost. Just an idea.
