First of all, I’ve never liked “dual” agents because they really aren’t. They work for the SELLER.

Secondly, it is YOU who makes the offer to what the agent puts in the contract. Are you letting him/her tell you what to put?

Remember, YOU don’t HAVE TO buy the house. THEY have to SELL it. It just may not be to you. As a buyer, ALWAYS try to get the most favorable price AND terms that you can out of the seller.

I’d probably find another agent to get an arms length distance from the whole purchase. I think dual agents are a conflict of interest, imho.

got a newbie Q for ya’ll. we’re using a dual agent for our home purchase and the offer seems to give the seller the price and the terms. no leverage for us. does this make any sense or should i press for one or the other?
thanks
