Go to the commercial news group on this site and type

Business

SBA

into the search archives and you should get a lot of posts that will give you some ideas on buying a business.

Also type in:

Dry Cleaners

There has been several posts made on that topic pertaining to buying a business. Also search under laundromats.

Here’s a link that goes into financing that covers some business deals within the responses to the post at this link:

After you get through with reading up on this stuff then come back and post your questions.

Make sure you post them on the commercial news group to get better answers.

This is news group II which you won’t find many experienced investors answering this type of question for you. Most of the stuff posted here is pertaining to other gurus as to whether the stuff they sell really works or not. Post your questions where the pros respond, which for businesses would be on the commercial news group.

Also make sure you use the archive search on the commercial news group’s board. Each board has it’s own seperate archives search function.

I was hoping that someone would be able to point me in the right direction for this. I was considering buying a business property (Beer & Beverage store) with a partner and was just trying to figure what the proper channels would be in doing this. Also, If anyone knows of any informative books or websites on this matter, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
