Not too big of a deal on resale. Sometimes you’ll have a problem if some kind of local tragedy / murder occured in the property. When purchasing the property, I would stress “how difficult” it will be to resell it. I’d be happy buying it at 60% of FMV - Repairs.

A gentleman contacted me concerning a house where one of his tenants died and they didn’t discover her until two days after her death (I suspect it might have been longer but I haven’t been to the house so I don’t know). What does this do to the reselling of this house? What kind of discount can I expect?

Thank you,

Brian

Natural deaths create zero impact when reselling. People pass away all
the time.

I suppose someone might be put off . . . but it should not be a concern
given much thought.
