Buying the note, then buying the house... - Posted by Levi

Nobody needs an “excuse” to purchase a note. Everyone knows it for profit. Notes are sold all the time.

Whether they will sell or not is another thing. You might ask this over in the note buying forum.

Buying the note, then buying the house… - Posted by Levi

A home owner called me about selling a house they bought on a land contract. If I could first buy the contract at a discount from the note holder, there is an extra profit opportunity. The holder is a national investment company. Does anyone see a way I could do this? I wouldn’t want to alert them that I intend to buy the property as well, because then they would never accept a discount. I guess I need to come up with an “excuse” why I’m interested in that note.
