that you would be able to get a gov’t agency to sell you a lien, they just dont understand it.

I’ve tried to buy those, no luck ever.

Have anyone ever tried to purchased one from DSHS? Also, how can one enforce the repayment of the lien? Is there any waiting period before one can try to force the sale?

I have, however, gotten them released with discounted payments and
one time with no payment.

Is it an actual recorded lien you are working with? What’s the doc
called and who is it against.? Or is it debt owed to the state by the
deceased?

I have gotten approval for a discount from DSHS already. However, instead of waiting to pay it off at closing (and risk losing the deal somewhere along the way), I’d like to become the lien holder so I have more rights and power. The owner had passed away with a huge medical bill. This is the medical lien that DSHS recorded against the property.
