Alos you will not be able to get another FHA owner occupied mortgage until this one is paid off.

I might have an opportunity to buy a better home in a better area creatively. The question is will I be able to rent my current home which I purchased with a FHA loan? Been living in it for the past 6 1/2 yrs.

Read your contract. My FHA only calls for me to live in the property one year. After that year I can do anything I want with it.
