well, you could, but it is not RE, so there is no deed to get, so no proof of ownership. bank holds title until payoff.
Exception: MH on land - then you are talking RE, and all sub2 rules apply.
Would you sub2 a car? Same thing.

Is there a better way to go around the bank and take possession of the mobile home until one is able to refinance it.
