Burrell,

In my opinion the Sheets course has alot of basics and is a good way to get some head start information on REI.

Just dont use the course as a cookbook, use it as a guileline and mold the techniques to fit your situation.

Best of Luck,

I am 27 yrs old interested in REI. I am returning back to school to finish my bachelors degree and looking for a part-time opportunity, in case my degree does not get me where I want to be.Caught the bug by waking up one morning to Carleton Sheets “No Down Payment.” Since then, I have purchased two books on REI, “How to get started in Real Estate Investing” and “How to Buy & Manage Rental Properties”, by Mike and Irene Milin. Is Carleton’s course good for the NOVICE? Any advice for a NOVICE is greatly appreciated. Thanx.
