Just received another contract on the cosmetic fixer I?m selling FSBO. They raised the price $4000 to pay the agent (no problem) AND want $5000 from seller toward buyer?s closing costs (PROBLEM!!)
My gentleman friend (man, that makes me sound old) says I look too naïve. I know Ed Garcia thinks the same thing, so I will adapt. From now on I?ll have a chewed stub of a cigar hanging from the corner of my mouth, I?ll wear spurs and I?ll get a tattoo larger than my gentleman friend?s. And I will say the things and do the things that Terry Vaughan would.
I wonder why, in this contract and a previous one from a different buyer, prior to writing up the contract they mentioned raising the price to cover one item but never mentioned the other (buyer?s closing costs)?
