What gotchas should I look out for when you are closing and can’t be present. I’m in VA and will be closing two deals in TX.

  1. if you are the seller, you need the signed, notarized deed and around here the seller’s affidavit, and that’s it.
  2. buyers are a little more commplecated especially if financing is involved and lots of papers to be signed, including the form that you sign agreeing to sign more papers if they loose theses.
