David, you are going to spend $2500 so you can have a homework assignment? What you are willing to burn $2500 on, you can get it for free here! This is the nerve center of information. Anything you don’t understand can be answered here. Listen to what the others have been telling you. Think of it this way $2500 is a 10% down payment on a $25k rental house. SERIOUSLY DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

If you have $2500 to pay them, then you already have enough money to do a deal. The $2500 is for confidence because you are scared to do it on your own.
Remember this…this is $2500(confidence and hand carrying) + any money required to close the deal. By giving them that money, you may knock yourself out a potential deal, financially.
READ everything you can. If you can confortably give them $2500 for a program that may not work, then you have $2500 to give on a potential mistake on your first deal.

What is the purpose of the coaching program?
Have you had any REI success with the CS course so far?
If you have, do think, feel, and/or believe that additional or more comprehensive instruction will improve things for you? If so, give it some thought.

On the other hand…

If you haven’t done any REI with the CS course…if all you’ve done so far is just read the course and are now considering the coaching program…see the message post on “Mentor SchooL” (3/06) especially my response.

The program involves a six month committment to a weekly workshop, including mandatory homework assignments. You have a personal coach (hand-picked by C.S.) that you work with. 3 phases, learning (8 weeks), actually making offers (8 weeks), and finishing up loose ends, etc. sounds like a beneficial investment. Also includes unlimited access to coach hotline - they will help with anything - structuring deals, etc.
