Commercial Investment - Prospecting and Due Dilligence


Hey Everyone,

So I am fairly new to commercial real estate investing and I would like to start off by making investments into office condos (NYC). I was wondering what tools/resources/services everyone uses when prospecting for potential deals as well as for doing due diligence? Specifically, do you use anything to get data on the property for a risk/return analysis? I am not too trusting of the brokers I worked with and would like to have a more unbiased source of building data, particularly when it comes to the vacancy risk.
