I am a bit new to REI and I too want to educate myself on commercial REI.
I would recommend going to the creonline ?Online Catalog? located on the left, click on ?Real Estate Courses? and then under ?Topic? click ?Apartments, Commercial?. There are some great books and courses that you can learn a ton from.
You are probably wanting someone to respond with actual experience but I hope that helps a little.
