I’ve noticed a lot of the sites either charge or are way out of date. I am a realtor. I would recomend building a relationship with a realtor or either becoming one yourself. In most states it is pretty inexpensive. Plus it will let you get in on some of the retail deals and still make some money.

Bob,

There are plenty of great pay and free sites out there. The site I like best is free and its Yahoo’s real estate site (realestate.yahoo.com). Go to the “what’s my home worth?” section on the left menu. NETRonline has a decent pay site, but not really worth it because you can get the comp info you need for free from Yahoo. The NETRonline reports do provide a little more info, but that’s for something else.

Just a note, the reason why you can get this info without a real estate license is because all the information is a matter of public record.

Hope this helps.
