I have 5 rentals in Delaware–2 acquired this year. My credit is good but debt to income is around 50%. I want to owner-build a personal residence but the banks are gun shy.I’ve milked equity from one to the other, juggled, tapdanced,refi’d, done backflips,you name it to get this far.I actually built the last house using credit card cash advances.(Not recommended for the faint hearted)I need a private investor who shares the vision…or a new song and dance routine I can perform before an unsuspecting mortgage broker! Any ideas welcome…I have no shame!
