Contingency Clause-What's one to use? - Posted by Al Pine

Subject to approval by Buyer’s partner within 5 business days of acceptance of contract.(this only works for short periods)

Subject to final inspection and written acceptance prior to closing.

Subject to Buyer’s written acceptance of list of personal property to be conveyed, list to be made an addendum of this contract.(timing open on this one)

Best defense is a contract which holds you to only losing your earnest money (if any), and as little of that as possible.

I am sure you will get other suggestions, but these are a few.

Also, if there are tenants, receipt and approval of leases, prior to closing.

Good luck.

Hello:

What’s a good contingency (weasel) cause to use. I certainly don’t want to have to use it however if something just isn’t right or my investor backs for whatewver reason at the last moment I’ll need to enforce this clause. Could you great people that present many offers give some suggestions?
Thanks a mill and happy ivesting to all!

Al
