Contract to Puchase? - Posted by JJ
Posted by JJ on January 12, 2004 at 20:34:00:
Can anyone point me to a contract to purchase (with the and/or assigns)that I can use to make an offer on a property I have found? I have done a search through the archives, but had no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi JJ, we’ve got a sample Purchase Contract posted for download at www.RDC123.com then click on “Download Contracts”. We don’t put “and/or assigns” anywhere in ours, nor on our signature line since in Georgia a contract IS assignable unless otherwise stated.
You can add “and/or assigns” after your signature on anyone else’s contract to make it assignable, although bank-owned REOs frown on that.
Bill Bronchick also has some sample contracts at his site www.legalwiz.com
Hope this helps,
