Looking for a general contractor who you would recommend. Single family
refurbishment. Two different projects so maybe two different contractors.

One is in Cincinnati and the other is in Dayton. These are not my properties so I
will be passing on the information to an investor. I said I would be able to help
find him an investor friendly contractor. By that I mean someone who does good
solid work for what are bread and butter type homes.

Thanks,
John Corey

John,

What type of contractor are you looking for ?

Are these complete rehabs or general maintenance type homes. ?

I’m in Dayton, I might be able to refer who I use depending on how large the project is.

Keith,

Thanks for the reply.

I was asking for a general contractor for larger projects. Complete
rehab but that does not always mean that the property is trashed. Just
that it might need updating in all the rooms vs. minor maintenance.

The specific project that triggered the request is in Cincinnati. I expect
this one needs a lot of work but I do not have the details.

I would take a referral for a contractor for general maintenance in
Dayton of you have someone you recommend. No specific need now
but good people are always worth knowing.

Hi John:

I could probably provide you some referrals to contractors in Cincy, but it highly depends on the scope of work and how high or low end the project is, and the overall dollar amount of repairs.

I wouldn’t want to have someone contact a high-end rehab guy with a project in the hood… You or the user could contact me with more details and maybe I can help.

Missed seeing you around the board lately.

JT,

Thanks for the kind words.

The property is run down and I expect the area is not great. Think low
end so a starter home or rental property in terms of quality of the work
to be done.

I can find out the address is that matters. If that does matter let me
know and I will email you. A solid contractor that can manage the
project without a lot of daily supervision from the owner.
