If you’re a Donald Trump, you have a muti-billion dollar company, and credit is no big deal. If you’re Joe Blow and have a multi-thousand dollar company, that is a completely different game.
One thing I never see written about Trump is the fact that he is a second generation RE developer. His father was also very wealthy from the same business Trump is in. This means he has a very long time to establish the soundness and stability of his company - the main factors in getting offered credit in the company name. In Trump’s league, its unlikely he personally could command the dollars his company does.
