There are several that work with the local investors that give pretty good prices.

The last house I added to that did not have it before was around $3,400.00

This is going tobe pretty rough, but here goes. I just got 3 quotes on a 1550 sq. ft, 3/1 in the Hill Country, $4300-$5300. This time last year I was doing a 1100 sq ft 3/2 and it ran right at $3300.

For some reason the YORK dealers always give me the best price, and my local guy up here is very thorough.

BTW, that included having to enlarge my attic access. Also I have no ducts at present.

For the amount of time, spent on this board, you could call four local companies, and get the information over the phone; yours is a broad question.

Has to do with crawl space, attic space, new house, rehab on old house, etc, open, closed in…

too many variables, but I would wager $2800.

i would like to get a figure from some seasoned investors, before calling and getting an overpriced estimate that could be way to much.

Huh? $2800? clint, where are you at?

Starting with nothing, needing to install ducts in the crawl space, all equipment, refrigerant lines, power for AC outside, etc … I’d wager more like $5500. This is coming from the SE Michigan market.
